Why Aqualogic
Five things that change how your laundry runs every day, from faster cycles and lower drying costs to connected controls and nationwide service.
One clear interface, right cycle every time.
Drier linen out of the washer means far less time in the dryer.
Cycle status visible across the room.
Girbau Sapphire connects your fleet over WiFi.
The reason operators stay with Aqualogic.
Choosing your mount
Every commercial washer is either hard mount or soft mount, and that choice decides where the machine can live, how fast it can spin and what installation will cost.

Bolted to a 200mm concrete plinth that absorbs the spin forces. Lower purchase price, around 200G extraction, ground floor only. Suits laundromats, caravan parks and public use sites.

Carries its own suspension, so no structural work and it can go on upper floors. Extraction past 400G cuts drying time and gas on every load. Suits hotels, hospitals and aged care.
Not sure which your site needs? We assess the floor, utilities and linen mix on a free site visit and recommend the mount with the lowest cost per cycle, not just the lowest sticker price.
On Premise Laundry
Every on premise laundry has different linen, peaks and compliance needs. These are the sectors we size and install washers for every week, and the features that matter most in each.
Thermal disinfection, dosing and audit-ready reporting for infection control.
Fast turnaround and 450G extraction, so linen is back in service sooner.
Validated temperatures, dosing and cycle reporting to prove compliance.
High extraction and robust build for heavy staining and fast turnaround.
Industrial build sized for heavy, abrasive workwear and continuous use.
Capacity matched to resident numbers, from light commercial to industrial.
Sizing
Size to your peak shift, not your average day. A machine that is big enough for the busiest morning will never become the bottleneck. Use these rules of thumb as a starting point, then we validate against your actual linen mix and shift pattern.
| Site type | Rule of thumb | Example | Typical washer sizing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aged care | 1 kg per bed per day | 80 beds = ~80 kg/day | 2 x 18 kg washers or 1 x 28 kg washer |
| Hotel | 1 kg per room per day | 120 rooms = ~120 kg/day | 2 x 24 kg washers or 1 x 40 kg washer |
| Hospital | 1.5 to 2 kg per bed per day | 60 beds = ~90 to 120 kg/day | 2 x 23 kg washers |
| Restaurant | 2 to 3 kg per seat per day | 80 covers = ~200 kg/day | 2 x 18 kg washers |
| Mining camp | 2 to 3 kg per person per day | 200 workers = ~400 to 600 kg/day | 3 x 28 kg washers or Milnor industrial |
Prices move with capacity, mount type and installation, so treat these as planning bands rather than quotes. Every figure below is machine only, before delivery, plinth work, plumbing and power.
| Class | Capacity | Indicative price | Typical site |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light Commercial | 10 to 15KG | Roughly $4,000 to $9,000 | Shared living, gyms, holiday parks, small clinics |
| Laundromat | 10 to 60KG | Roughly $10,000 to $75,000 | Laundromats, caravan parks, campus laundries |
| On Premise Laundry | 10 to 60KG | Roughly $10,000 to $75,000 | Aged care, hotels, on premise laundries |
| Central Laundry - Manual | 28 to 110KG | Roughly $30,000 to $150,000 | Sites processing 10 to 30 ton per week |
| Central Laundry - Automated | 1000KG per hour upwards | Quoted per project | Sites processing 30 to 300 tons per week |

The sticker price is only part of what a washer costs. Water, energy, chemicals and labour dwarf it over the life of the machine, which is why we spec features that cut the cost of every single cycle, not just the cost of day one.
A 450G spin leaves linen far drier, so dryers finish sooner and burn less gas.
Exact chemical dosing every cycle. Less waste, lower rewash, audit-ready records.
Wi-Fi reporting on cycles, errors and energy, so faults get fixed faster.
Australia's largest spare parts holding and nationwide service, for decades of life.
From a single 10kg LG stack for a holiday park to a Girbau tunnel washing 1,500kg an hour, we have a proven solution for your volume, your floor and your budget. Tell us about your laundry and we will spec the right machine, quote it properly and stand behind it for the life of the equipment.

Light commercial machines around 10 to 15kg generally run from about $4,000 to $9,000. Laundromat and on premise washers between 10kg and 60kg sit roughly between $10,000 and $75,000 depending on mount type and controls, manual central laundry machines from 28kg to 110kg roughly run from $30,000 to $150,000, and automated central laundry systems are quoted per project. Delivery, plinth, plumbing and power are additional.
Commercial washing machines are washer extractors, loaded and unloaded per batch, typically 6.5kg to 110kg. Industrial systems are built for continuous production, including tunnel washers that process linen in a constant flow and are sized in kilograms per hour rather than per load.
Hard mount machines are bolted to a reinforced concrete plinth and suit ground floor installations. Soft mount machines absorb the spin forces internally, so they can go on suspended floors and upper levels without structural work, and they generally allow higher extraction.
Extraction decides how much water leaves in the spin instead of the dryer. Drying is the most expensive step in a laundry, so a washer at 400G will cut drying time and energy cost against a machine at 150G, for the same load.
Light commercial machines are rated at around 10,000 cycles, commercial machines at around 30,000 cycles, and industrial machines commonly run 10 to 20 years. Water quality, load discipline and preventative maintenance make the biggest difference to where a machine lands in that range.
As a rule of thumb, allow around 1kg of washer capacity per hotel room and per aged care bed per day, then match the machine to your peak shift rather than your average day. We size every machine to your linen mix, shift pattern and utilities before we quote, so you do not pay for capacity you never use.
Yes, with a soft mount machine. Soft mount washers have internal suspension that absorbs the spin forces, so they can be installed on suspended slabs and upper levels without a concrete plinth. Hard mount machines must be bolted to a reinforced concrete base at ground level.
Yes. Aqualogic handles delivery, rigging, installation, commissioning and staff training, then backs every machine with preventative maintenance programs, 24/7 urgent repairs and Australia's largest in-house spare parts holding for the brands we supply.
Aged care and hospital laundries need thermal disinfection cycles, programmable controls and traceability. We typically recommend Girbau GS Series soft mount washers with 450G extraction and Sapphire connectivity, or Milnor industrial washers for very high volume central laundries. Both support validated hygiene programs and automatic chemical dosing.
The biggest savings come from higher extraction, which reduces dryer gas use, and automatic chemical dosing, which cuts rewash and chemical waste. A 450G washer can remove enough extra water to noticeably shorten drying time, while connected controls let you spot idle machines and out-of-spec cycles before they waste water and energy.
Most OPL sites benefit from soft mount because the laundry is often on an upper floor or suspended slab and because lower drying costs quickly offset the higher purchase price. Hard mount is only cheaper overall when you already have a reinforced ground floor slab and the lowest possible capital cost is the only priority.
We supply LG Commercial for light commercial and vended sites, Girbau for mid-size to industrial on premise laundries, Wascomat for vended and laundromat applications, and Milnor for heavy duty industrial and tunnel washing. Every range is backed by Aqualogic service, spare parts and nationwide installation.
In a vended laundromat, a single 10kg stack washer running four cycles a day at $5 per cycle generates roughly $7,300 a year. In an on premise laundry, the payback comes from labour savings, lower linen replacement and reduced dryer gas, often showing a measurable return inside two to four years depending on volume and utility prices.
Soft mount washers need level flooring, drainage, cold and hot water, a power point and adequate ventilation. Hard mount washers also need a reinforced concrete plinth, usually around 200mm thick. We survey the site, confirm utilities and floor loading, then quote the machine plus any plinth, plumbing or electrical work required.
Yes. Girbau GS Series and Milnor industrial washers can run validated thermal disinfection programs that hold linen above 71C for the time required by healthcare and aged care guidelines. Combined with automatic chemical dosing and connected cycle logging, they give infection control teams the traceability they need.
