Aqualogic, Leaders in Laundry

Commercial laundry for shared living and student housing

Shared Living

Communal laundry that residents actually rate, and facilities teams never hear about.

Shared Living

Student accommodation, build-to-rent, co-living, boarding schools and retirement living all face the same problem: many residents, one laundry room, and no tolerance for a machine being out of service.

Aqualogic designs communal laundries around the way residents actually behave, peak loads at night and on Sundays, overfilled drums, wrong programs, and specifies equipment that absorbs it without becoming a maintenance line item.

Add app-based payment and live availability and the room stops generating complaints, starts generating data, and, if you want it to, starts generating revenue.

Resident experience

Live availability and cycle alerts make laundry easier for every resident.

Built for abuse

Commercial machines withstand constant use, overloading and simple daily mistakes.

Space and services

Smart layouts fit more capacity while preserving safe service access.

Revenue or amenity

Choose paid cycles, resident allowances or free use without changing machines.

Uptime and support

Connected alerts and national support keep every laundry room available.

Who we work with

One category, four very different rooms

Student accommodation

High density, sharp seasonal peaks and a resident base that expects app-based everything. Stacked columns and fast turnaround programs keep the room moving through move-in week and exam season.

Build-to-rent & co-living

Laundry is an amenity that competes with in-apartment machines. Quality of finish, noise, and reliability matter as much as capacity, and the room often doubles as a social space.

Boarding schools

Duty of care, uniform care and supervised access. Often a hybrid of a staffed on-premise laundry for linen and a resident-accessible room for personal clothing.

Retirement & independent living

Simple, accessible controls, front-load machines at a workable height and unmistakable program selection, plus support for residents who need it.

App-based laundry for residents

Coin-operated communal laundry is finished. Residents expect to check availability, pay and be notified from the same phone they use for everything else.

We install and support the platforms that do it, integrated with the machines so usage, faults and revenue all report to one place.

Common questions

Planning a communal laundry

How many machines does a building need?
As a working rule we size from bed count, expected loads per resident per week and the acceptable wait at peak, then check the result against the room's services capacity. We'll model it against your building rather than quoting a generic ratio.
Can residents pay through an app?
Yes. We install app-based platforms that handle payment, live availability and cycle notifications, and can run tap payment alongside them for visitors or staff.
Can laundry be included in the rent?
It can. The same machines and platform support free-to-use or allowance-based models, so you keep usage data and fault reporting without charging per cycle.
Who maintains the machines?
We do. Preventative maintenance, remote diagnostics and factory-trained technicians in every state, backed by Australia's largest spare-parts holding, with reporting to your facilities team.
