5 in 1 integration
Feeding, drying, ironing, folding and stacking combined into one machine, so there is no separate feeder, dryer, folder or stacker to buy, house, power and maintain.

Five machines, one footprint. The Compact PRO integrates feeding, drying, ironing, folding and stacking into a single machine, delivering up to 220 kg/h in as little as 20 square metres. Damp linen goes straight from a high-extraction washer and comes back folded and stacked, with one operator. Available as the Compact Pro 600 and Compact Pro 800, with gas, steam or electric heating.

Energy saving vs traditional process
Every function previously handled by several separate machines, now integrated into a single compact footprint. The Compact PRO exists because most laundries cannot justify the floor space, capital or headcount of a full ironing line, but still need the finish that one produces.
Feeding, drying, ironing, folding and stacking combined into one machine, so there is no separate feeder, dryer, folder or stacker to buy, house, power and maintain.
Direct ironing eliminates the dryer stage entirely, and independent heat zone modulation means only the burner of the active lane ignites. One of the most expensive processes in the laundry simply disappears.
Ironing speed adjusts automatically to moisture content and linen thickness, holding a constant temperature so the finish stays uniform whatever comes out of the washer.
Colour touchscreen with intuitive programming, multiple programmes per customer or linen type, plus remote diagnostics and productivity analysis built in.
An interwoven strap system holds linen against 270 degrees of roller surface without transferring marks, giving the ironing quality of a much larger machine.
An extra-wide vacuum table positions, holds and spreads linen while feeding clamps centre it, so a single operator can load king sheets and duvet covers without a second pair of hands.
Micro-switch protection on every front and rear cover, with an ergonomic feeding height that keeps operators out of awkward postures across a full shift.
The machine can be dismantled into modules for installation in previously inaccessible areas. The Compact Pro 800 is available in a knock-down version for tight access such as hotel basements.
Configure for 1, 2 or 4 lanes to suit sheets, table linen or small pieces, with by-pass options, a small-piece collector on 2 and 4 lane builds and a rear output table option.
Feeding
Only one operator is needed. The extra-wide vacuum feeding table positions, holds and spreads linen to prevent wrinkles, while feeding clamps centre each item so folds and stacks land square. De-creasing brushes stretch the linen at the sides before it reaches the roll, which is where most crease formation begins.

Quality
The Compact PRO delivers a premium finish thanks to 270 degrees of linen contact with the roller surface and an interwoven strap system that prevents marks transferring. The heat output makes it possible to iron straight from the washer, bypassing the dryer entirely.

Folding and stacking
The Compact PRO's folding system matches the quality of Girbau's dedicated FR+ folder. Available in standard single-lane or multilane configurations, with both mechanical blade and air-driven cross-folding for precise, repeatable results and consistent, even stacks ready for the trolley.
Running cost
Independent modulation of heat zones creates up to 30% energy savings, because only the burner of the active lane ignites rather than the whole roll. On top of that, removing dryer preconditioning cuts one of the most expensive processes in the laundry entirely, and frees your existing dryers for towelling.
Installation
The machine fits into just 20 square metres of floor space. The knock-down version can be dismantled into modules and reassembled inside the laundry, which is what makes it viable for hotel basements and facilities with restricted access where a full line could never be delivered.
Specifying
The Compact PRO performs to its numbers when it is fed properly. That means high-extraction washing ahead of it and a sensible linen flow around it, which is exactly what our design stage covers before any equipment is quoted.
Two models to match your production volume.
| Model | Max. production | Roller Ø | Working width | Ironing area | Max. speed | Heating |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Compact Pro 600 | 175 kg/h | 600 mm | 3,300 mm | 4.95 m² | 12 m/min | Gas, Steam |
| Compact Pro 800 | 220 kg/h | 800 mm | 3,300 mm | 6.60 m² | 25 m/min | Gas, Steam, Electric |
Production figures assume correctly extracted linen. Final specification depends on linen mix, volumes and room dimensions.

The Compact PRO sits in Girbau's mid-production range, above the PB wall ironers and just below full automatic ironing lines. If you are hand-folding flatwork or paying an external linen service, it is usually the machine that changes the maths. Send us your volumes and we will model it honestly against what you spend today.
Make an EnquiryIt is a single machine that feeds, dries, irons, folds and stacks flat linen. Functions that normally require five separate pieces of equipment are integrated into one footprint of around 20 square metres, producing up to 220 kg/h.
The Compact Pro 600 has a 600mm roller, 4.95 m² of ironing area and produces up to 175 kg/h at 12 m/min, in gas or steam. The Compact Pro 800 has an 800mm roller, 6.60 m² and produces up to 220 kg/h at 25 m/min, in gas, steam or electric.
Yes. Feeding, drying, ironing, folding and stacking all happen inside the one machine, so there is no separate feeder, flatwork dryer, folder or stacker to buy, house or service.
From around 20 square metres including operator and trolley access. We produce a room layout drawing showing feed and exit clearances before you commit to anything.
Gas and steam on both models, with electric also available on the Compact Pro 800. Gas is usually the lowest running cost where a supply exists, steam suits sites already running a boiler.
One or two primary folds and up to three cross-folds per lane, using both air and blade mechanisms, with by-pass options, a small-piece collector on 2 and 4 lane builds and a height-adjusting stacker belt in four positions.
Yes. The extra-wide vacuum feeding table and feeding clamps let a single operator load king-size sheets, duvets and duvet covers, with de-creasing brushes stretching the linen before it reaches the roll.
A PB Series line is separate feeder, ironer, folder and stacker units configured to your volumes, and scales higher. The Compact PRO puts those functions in one machine with a small footprint and low labour, which suits mid-sized on-premise and growing commercial laundries.
Yes, for towelling and terry, which never goes through an ironer. Flatwork bypasses the dryer entirely, which frees your existing dryers up and cuts energy use.
Usually yes. The machine dismantles into modules, and the Compact Pro 800 is available in a knock-down version specifically for sites where a full-width machine cannot be delivered in one piece.
Frequently, yes. We will model in-house cost per kilo including labour, energy, water and finance against your current contract rate so the comparison is genuine.
Official Girbau warranty applies, with regional conditions confirmed at quote. Aqualogic services the machine nationally with our own technicians and Australia's largest commercial laundry parts holding.
