Advanced temperature control
Precision temperature adjustment before and after the drum, with custom drying profiles to suit every fabric type, load size and programme requirement.

Drying is the single biggest energy consumer in any laundry, so the ED Series is engineered around one idea: get the linen dry in the shortest possible time using the least possible energy, without cooking the fibres. Advanced moisture control, variable-frequency drive and the Transflow drying system deliver uniform, gentle drying across capacities from 13kg to 63kg, in gas, electric or steam.

Every element of the ED Series targets cost per kilo: how quickly heat reaches the fibre, how much of it escapes the cabinet, and how soon the cycle stops once the linen is actually dry. Advanced, fast and efficient drying that saves time and money while caring for linen and the environment.
Precision temperature adjustment before and after the drum, with custom drying profiles to suit every fabric type, load size and programme requirement.
Radial and axial airflow combined penetrate between garments rather than skimming past them, giving uniform drying in shorter cycles with zero heat leakage.
High-precision residual moisture control ends the cycle at exactly the right moment. No over-drying, shorter cycles, less gas burned and less fibre damage on every load.
Drum holes are stamped rather than drilled, eliminating the sharp edges that shred fabric. Longer-lasting linen and visibly better textile care.
Intuitive icon-based interface with up to 50 multi-phase programmes. Operators adjust temperature, airflow, drum speed and mechanical intensity phase by phase.
Front-access design, folding control panel and a large-capacity lint filter make servicing quick. Reinforced bearings and a toothed belt need no retightening.
The drum does not rest on support wheels, so rotation is smoother and quieter and one of the most common wear items on a commercial dryer simply is not there.
Whatever the load size or cycle phase, drum speed adjusts automatically to keep garments in a floating state, delivering an optimal finish and extending fabric life.
Inverter, motor and microprocessor work as one to balance rotation speed and reversal intervals by fabric type, cutting energy draw and mechanical stress.
Efficiency
Drying consumes more energy than any other process in laundering. The ED Series optimises energy use and achieves better results in less time, which makes it the single most effective place to attack running costs in an on-premise or commercial laundry.

Fabric care
The Care drum system keeps wear on fabrics to a minimum. Pressing out the holes in the drum instead of drilling them makes all the difference in textile treatment. Combined with advanced rotation control, linen lasts longer and feels softer in the guest's hand.
Running costs
Drying performance starts in the washer. Linen leaving a 450G Genius extract holds around 8 percent less water than a 200G hard-mount machine, and it takes roughly 50 percent longer to dry the output of a 200G washer. Match the two and you compound the saving on every load, every day.
Safety and reliability
Dryers are the highest fire risk in a laundry, and reducing maintenance is what keeps them efficient. The ED Series is built with simplicity in mind: reliable solutions that do not require complexity, which matters when machines run overnight or on unattended vend sites.

Connectivity
Like the Genius washers, ED Series dryers connect to the Sapphire cloud platform through the Connectivity Box. Programs roll out across the fleet from a laptop, faults are emailed before they become downtime, and production reporting shows exactly where cycle time is being lost.
Capacities are quoted at a 1:20 fill ratio. Heating options vary by model.

From compact on-premise laundries to large commercial operations, the ED Series balances efficiency, fabric care and reliability. Specify the dryer against the washer, the linen type and the room, not against a price list. We will model cycle times and energy use on your actual volumes and show you where the payback sits before you commit.
Make an EnquirySix models from the ED260 at 13kg through to the ED1250 at 62.5kg, in gas, electric or steam heating. Most sites run two or three matched machines rather than one large one, so a fault never stops the whole laundry.
As a rule of thumb, dryer capacity should be equal to or slightly larger than washer capacity so a full wash load transfers in one go. Pairing an 18kg washer with an ED460 is a common configuration. We size it properly against your linen mix.
It measures residual moisture in the load in real time and ends the cycle the moment target dryness is reached, instead of running a fixed timer. That removes the wasted full-heat minutes at the end of every load and stops linen being cooked.
Gas is usually the lowest running cost where a supply exists. Electric suits sites without gas or with solar generation. Steam suits central laundries that already run a boiler. We will compare all three against your utility tariffs.
Most dryers push air across the load. Transflow combines radial and axial airflow so air penetrates between garments and dries from inside the load outwards. The result is uniform drying on mixed loads in shorter cycles, with no heat leaking into the room.
Drilled drum holes leave microscopic sharp edges that abrade fabric on every rotation. Stamping the holes removes those edges, so the same linen survives more cycles. On a large linen stock that difference is worth more than the energy saving.
Each model has a specified exhaust duct size and make-up air requirement. Under-provisioned ducting is the most common cause of poor drying performance we see on site, so we check it at design stage rather than after installation.
Yes, stacked configurations are available in the smaller capacities and are commonly used in laundromats and shared living to double capacity in the same floor area.
