Aqualogic has worked with government bodies, including correctional facilities, for many years. Here’s an example of one of our correctional facility laundry installations, featured on Channel Nine’s Australia Behind Bars. The Aqualogic project services team worked alongside the facilities consultant to develop the laundry design. As with all our laundries, it was designed with efficiency and practicality in mind. Specifically, this project had to be designed with safety at the forefront, as it is a correctional facility and the laundry is operated by the inmates.
In the laundry featured in the video below, you will see 7 IPSO IY600 60kg Large Softmount Washers and 7 IPSO DR200 83kg Large Dryers. This laundry processes on average 1500 to 2000kg a week, washing not only this facility’s linen but other facilities’ as well. This was one of many Aqualogic correctional facility projects.
