GMP Chest Ironer Range
The GMP Chest Ironer Range is available in a number of lengths and diametres. The GMP160.30 is our biggest GMP ironer and is suitable for those businesses looking to find a balance between affordability and performance. They can accommodate 3.2 metre wide linen folded in half, and have an hourly output of 40-60kg. It has a diameter of 300mm, giving it good contact surface. The GMP160.30 comes with two ironing speeds to suit different fabrics and humidity levels.
We also stock the smaller GMP120.25. These are recommended for laundries processing 25-35kg an hour, and can accommodate 2.4 metres linen width, folded in half. They have a diameter of 200mm, making their overall size considerably smaller than some commercial ironers. They’re perfect for those businesses looking to move from hand-ironing and speed up their laundry process, or those working with a small space.
All GMP Chest ironers come with a freely adjustable temperature control for flexibility, and a steel chest, for reliability, efficiency and durability.
Tenax Stainless Steel Padding
GMP are also known for their Tenax stainless steel padding, replacing standard roller padding usually made of steel wool. Tenax is guaranteed for 5 years, but can last even longer. Whereas steel wool padding can need replacing in as little as 6 months. It also delivers better quality and performance because it is not subject to deformations, as well it has a perforated structure, which allows quick and easy removal of moisture from the ironing surface. We highly recommend adding Tenax to your GMP ironer for superior finishing results.
