Did you know that as part of this year’s government budget, the Caravan Industry has been allocated funding for much needed infrastructure upgrades? The government opened a Grants Program on November 21st 2022, and it will be available until June 2024 or until the funding is fully depleted. The grants are between $10,000 and $100,000 for successful applicants, and must be matched dollar-for-dollar by the successful applicant. Also important to note is that the Grants Program is only available to privately-owned caravan parks. Those businesses that own or operate multiple caravan parks are able to apply for multiple grants, to the total sum of $300,000. The grants may be used for new infrastructure, park assets, or meaningful improvements to existing infrastructure, including the laundry.
