Thanks to its dual-door design, the IPSO Medium Barrier Washer prevents microbiological contamination within the laundry process. They are most suitable for environments where the risk of microbiological contamination is high, such as hospitals and other healthcare settings. Using a wall to separate the laundry into a soiled space and a clean space, the barrier washing machine sits within the wall and is accessible on both sides. This keeps the spaces separate and minimises cross-contamination and re-contamination. The IPSO IMB-range of industrial hygienic barrier washer-extractors comes available in capacities from 36kg up to 70kg.
